Nine units on the edge of the Judean Desert — private cabins with their own yard, air-conditioned glamping tents, and quiet double rooms. No lobby, no check-in queue, and no city close enough to hear.
Midbarta sits in Vered Yericho, in the Jordan Valley, where the Judean Desert drops toward the lowest point on earth. It is family-run: Dekel chooses his guests himself, answers the phone himself, and there is no automated booking engine between you and him.
Every unit faces open desert. In summer there is water — private plunge pools for the cabins and glamping tents, a shared one for the rooms. In winter there are jacuzzis. And at night, once your eyes adjust, the sky opens up in a way it simply does not near a city.
Three kinds of unit, nine in total. Prices are per couple, per night; each additional guest is ₪150 a night. Thursday and Friday nights count as weekend. From 1 July to 1 September every night is charged at the weekend rate. A private jacuzzi is ₪150 extra, booked in advance.
Open-plan cabins with a yard that is entirely yours — a plunge pool in summer, a jet jacuzzi in winter, and nobody sharing either.

Vered Yericho is an unusually good base. The Dead Sea is a twelve-minute drive, and most of what people come to this part of the country for is inside half an hour.

There is no online booking here. You send a message, Dekel replies, and the whole thing is settled in one conversation. Check-in is 14:00–17:00, check-out by 11:00.
